Will private insurance or Medicare pay for my order?

Injuryusupplies.com is a contracted medical equipment provider for many insurance companies, and we are happy to assist you in obtaining reimbursement from your insurance company for any eligible item(s). Our parent company, Precision DME is licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and Accredited by CHAP.  Injurysupplies.com will not be able to bill HMO’s.

Find out if your supplies are covered by Medicare or your insurance with a simple toll free phone call to (1-877-339-2250), 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, Central Standard Time   

If you place on order online, and indicate you would like Injurysupplies.com to bill your insurance company, you will receive a call from a  customer service team member to discuss your specific circumstances and gather information regarding eligibility. If you place the order with our customer service team over the phone (1-877-339-2250) , the customer service representative will take your order, then transfer you to our billing department to begin the billing process. Either way, the process involves these simple steps:

Step 1:
Injurysupplies.com will collect the following information:
  • Insurance Company Name
  • Insured's Name and ID# or Subscriber#
  • Group#
  • Date of Birth (both the insured and the patient, if different)
  • Insurance Company Member Services Phone #
  • Insurance Company Claims Mailing Address
Step 2:
HIPAA Release Form. Injurysupplies.com will email, fax, or mail you a HIPAA Release Form, which gives your physician and your insurance carrier permission to release relevant medical information to Injurysupplies.com so that we can successfully submit your claim. Please respond to this form ASAP.
Step 3:
Injurysupplies.com will contact your insurance company to determine eligibility and coverage. Our billing specialists will then contact you with the details, including your total out-of-pocket cost.
Step 4:
You will need to send the prescription from your physician for all eligible equipment. This prescription must be received by Injurysupplies.com before your medical equipment is delivered.
Step 5:
After all information is received Injurysupplies.com will file your claim with your insurance carrier within 7 days.
Step 6:
Your insurance carrier will process your claim and generally reimburse you within 45 days.
